Responsible for the mobile device release management of Samsung smartphones for the LATAM market. Main Project Leader and Release Manager of Samsung best-selling smartphones (A01 Core, 06 million units in LA).
Act as the main interface between Latin American carrier customers and Samsung Technical Groups in Brazil and South Korea, to develop and enable new features on Samsung devices. Work across teams, with a wide range of stakeholders, and elbow-to-elbow with software developers and validation engineers, as well as with partner product teams.
Responsible for the OS Upgrade and Security Upgrade of about 2.5 million devices in 16 Latin American countries.
Software Project Leader/Research Engineer (May 2015 – September 2018)
Responsible for the release of six LG Smartphones (X Power, K10, G5, Stylus 3, X Cam, GFlex 2) for the Latin American market. Each device had 30+ customized software versions to be managed – with very strict deadlines – to adhere to the factory assembly schedule.
Co-work with other International LG R&D laboratories (USA, South Korea) and Latin American LG branch offices to develop joint projects.
Act as Tech Lead and Consultant in R&D projects for mobile devices in different research areas, including: Internet of Things, big data/analytics, image and camera tools, text-to-speech and parallel computing (multi-core systems optimization). Joined the decision-making processes of if the technology should be embedded in the next LG models or not.
